Ria T. DiLullo (Director | Founder, Artistic Director, Developer)
Ria T. DiLullo is a native New Yorker and the founder and artistic director of The Skeleton Rep(resents), a new works development company with a mission to explore modern myth and practice the crafts of collaborative art-making. They have collaborated with other development companies over the years including The Tank, ESPA Primary Stages, Urban Stages, and Xavier Theatre in order to bring works from TSR to further life. This includes dozens of development presentations and a collection of full productions since the company's start in 2015. When not engaged in creative pursuits, Ria works as an instructor of holistic biomechanics and Pilates, as well as for-hire work with monologue training, stage and film direction, and workshops.

Emily Claire Schmitt is a playwright and screenwriter focused on uncovering the mystical in the modern world. She is a Core member of The Skeleton Rep(resents) and sits on the board of directors of The Catholic Artist Connection. Theater credits include: Whatchamacallit: A Play About Jesus (2015 TSR) Spinoza’s Ethics (2016 Dream Up! Festival) The Chalice (2017 Xavier Theater/The Stonewall Inn) Confessional (TSR 2019 Salon Series) and Absolution (2021 Xavier Theater Virtual Play Grant) and The Inconvenient Miracle: A Mysterious Birth Musical (Book, 2022 TSR/EAG Open Stage Grant). As a teenager, he acted on children’s television, started freelancing as a lighting designer at fifteen, and won the International Thespian Festival’s MusicalWorks award for his original musical, Love at First Site, at seventeen. More recently, he programmed tech for Bruce McColluch: Tales of Bravery and Stupidity and premiered his second hour-long solo show: Lessons for an incomplete black boy, which will be running another weekend at Soho Playhouse this June.

ABOUT THE TANK
Founded in 2003, The Tank is a small, Manhattan-based non-profit arts presenter and producer serving emerging artists. Our goal is to remove economic barriers from the creation of new work for artists launching their careers or experimenting within their art form, while being inclusive and accessible. We keep ticket prices affordable, expanding the creation and attendance of the arts for a broad and diverse community. The Tank champions emerging artists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas and forms of expression working across all disciplines, including theater, comedy, dance, film, music, puppetry, and storytelling. From the company’s two-theater home on 36th Street, The Tank serves over 2,500 artists every year, presents over 1,000 performances, and welcomes 36,000 audience members annually.
